Episode 25: The Nigga Episode

Well, the title pretty much says it all. What is hip-hop's involvement in the widespread use of the word? Has hip-hop made it appropriate for others outside of the Black community to use it? We discuss are choice to use (or not use) the word, why we choose to use it, and what how hip-hop has played a role in how it is used today. The terms is obviously dropped several times within the episode since it is the actual thing we're discussing. Instead of listening to white news anchors discuss why the word should no longer be used, we created a space where we as (in this case) young, Black men can discuss it. But we also want to hear what YOU have to say. Do you use it? Why do you use it? Does it still have power? Let's talk about it, unfiltered and uninterrupted.
